In the recent few years, Moroccan governments have been aware of the importance required to be given to education of children with special needs. A little importance has been given to this issue in the literature. Based on this observation, the current paper questions the real capacity of this sector to fulfill its assignments. Relying on both the national data and ad hoc survey, we try to identify the determinants of the integration of children with special needs in the educational system. The suggested econometric approach has never been applied on such type of data. It is conducted in two stages: in the first stage, we have relied on the nonparametric approach to determine the survival and coincidental functions. In the second stage, a logistic regression has been conducted in order to analyze the impact of some individual characteristics upon the possibility of integrating a class. In terms of the economic policy, we are proposing the following: a prerequisite training for all stakeholders in the field of inclusive education, equipping all the classrooms with the learning materials, organizing of awareness campaigns for the enrolment of children with special needs.
