Abstract

Two field experiments were carried out in saline soil of farm at Galbana, village, North Sinai Governorate, Egypt, during the two successive summer seasons of 2019 and 2020. The site lies in the north-waste in coast of Sinai, between 32o- 35' and 32o – 45' E and 31o- 00' and 31o- 250 N. Study the evaluation to application composts or biochar combined with by mineral nitrogen different rates irrigated with or without magnetic water on soil fertility and maize productivity as well as quality. In both seasons, each experiment was carried out in a split-split plot design with three replicates.

The obtained results indicated the using of compost or biochar combined with mineral nitrogen fertilizer rates and irrigated with magnetic water led to decreased soil pH and EC, as welltheas increase if macronutrients available contents in soil than without magnetic water. The micronutrients available in soil treated with biochar combined by mineral nitrogen rates irrigated with magnetic water compared without magnetic water. Also, the increase of growth parameters and yield of maize and some micronutrients concentration in grain yield as affected with treated by application of compost combined with mineral N fertilizers rates irrigated magnetic water compared with other treatments. The micronutrient concentration in grain maize were increased as affected by biochar combined with mineral nitrogen rates irrigated with magnetic water than without magnetic. The application of compost combined with mineral N rates and irrigation magnetic water led to increase of seed quality compared without irrigation magnetic water.
