Abstract

For the promotion of good health and the reduction of illness risk, Nutraceuticals, functional food components, and dietary supplements are crucial. Although a wide range of bioactive is known to provide the anticipated positive benefits. The researcher have under gone the literatures related to the Nutraceuticals – Omega 3 fatty acids as a positive effect on human health and diseases, on the basis of the related literatures and the findings it found that many types of Omega-3 fatty acids are positively affect the human health and which also helps to prevent and cure from certain diseases like cancer, heart diseases etc. Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. They are very important for human health, but the body cannot produce them on its own. We must get them through food. Omega-3 fatty acids play an important role in brain function and normal growth and development.
